Our Service Program

4 Service Areas

Chapter

Service to the chapter consists of serving on one of our committees, helping with a fundraiser, participating in recruitment participating in our LFS retreat, and much more.

Campus

Our main service partner on campus is SARP, for whom we help pack up safe sex kits. We also volunteer for other groups on campus if they are hosting events. We’ve worked with Boston Hacks, BU ASU, and more.

Community

Our specialty is service to the community. We pride ourselves on our strong, well nurtured relationships with Boston area community partners. Check out the amazing organizations we work with here!

Nation

Service to the Nation includes encouraging census and voter participation. Many of our brothers also participate in service trips. This encompasses any service that expands outside of our community.

During the 2019 school year, the Zeta Upsilon brothers and pledges completed over 7,500 hours of service for over 55 organizations in the Greater-Boston Area.

Service is the number one thing we do in Alpha Phi Omega. All active brothers are required to complete a minimum of 20 service hours per semester, although many do much more than that! In order to complete service hours, our Service Vice Presidents work hard to connect us with many great organizations in the Boston area, such as the American Red Cross, Cradles to Crayons, Boston Rescue Mission, and many more!
